Pews private beta

Privacy notice

What we collect during early-access research, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Effective August 6, 2026

Who is responsible

Pews is a product of Clearline Technology Methods (“CTM,” “we,” or “us”). This notice covers the Pews marketing page and early-access fit check. It does not describe a future production service or customer-data agreement.

What we collect

If you complete the fit check, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, work email, church, role, church size, current tools, operational challenges, timing, and budget context. We may also receive campaign attribution values attached to the link, such as UTM source or campaign.

Our web and form infrastructure may process routine technical data needed to operate and protect the services, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and request logs.

How we use it

  • Review fit for the Pews private beta.
  • Contact you about your response and possible early access.
  • Understand patterns in church operations and product demand.
  • Measure which outreach efforts produce useful conversations.
  • Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the page and form.

We do not sell your personal information or use your response to automatically enroll your church in a paid service.

Service providers

The landing page and fit check are hosted on CTM-operated infrastructure. The fit check uses Formbricks at intake.clearlinetechmethods.com. The landing page uses CTM's self-hosted Plausible service at analytics.clarktechmedia.com to measure aggregate page visits and clicks on early-access links. Plausible does not use cookies or store IP addresses, and we do not send fit-check responses to Plausible. Campaign values in the landing-page URL may be included in aggregate analytics and are also preserved when you choose to start the fit check.

Retention and sharing

We keep early-access responses while they are useful for product research, follow-up, or an active business relationship, then delete or de-identify them when they are no longer needed. We may share information with service providers working for us, or when required by law. We do not publish individual responses without permission.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your early-access response, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email intake@clearlinetechmethods.com. Include the email address used in the fit check so we can locate the response.

Children and sensitive information

The early-access process is for adult church leaders and operators. Do not submit children’s information, pastoral-care details, giving records, credentials, or other sensitive church or congregant data. We only need high-level workflow context at this stage.

Scope boundary: Joining the interest list does not create a production software account, authorize us to process congregant records, or replace any agreement that would be required before a church uses Pews with real data.
